1.Job title : Production Control Manager
3. Job Duties / Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
Departmental Leadership & Management: Provide leadership, direction, coaching, and performance management for Production Control personnel (Supervisors, Planners, Schedulers, Coordinators)
. Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop realistic daily, weekly, monthly, and long-term production plans and schedules based on customer requirements and plant capacity
. Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with Production, Materials, Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Logistics, and Finance to ensure alignable schedules and smooth operational flow
. Systems Utilization & Data Integrity (SAP/MES/ERP): Utilize SAP, MES, and ERP/MRP systems effectively to maintain accurate production orders, material requirements, inventory transactions, and manufacturing data
. Material Availability & Inventory Control: Monitor material availability to prevent shortages, and manage work-in-process (WIP) and finished-goods inventory levels efficiently
. Customer Demand & On-Time Delivery: Monitor customer delivery requirements, manage customer schedule changes and expedites, and protect on-time delivery performance
. Constraint Management & Recovery Planning: Identify production bottlenecks, material shortages, and disruptions, and establish prompt, effective recovery plans
. Launch & Engineering Change Support: Coordinate production requirements for new product launches, engineering/process changes, trials, and validation builds
. KPI Monitoring & Performance Reporting: Track, analyze, and report key performance metrics (e.g., schedule attainment, on-time delivery, downtime, scrap, WIP, and inventory levels) to Plant Management
. Continuous Improvement: Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kanban, 5S, root-cause analysis, and process optimization to enhance production efficiency and shorten lead times

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred (or equivalent manufacturing/production control experience)
. Work Experience:
Minimum 5–10 years of progressive experience in Production Control, Production Planning, Scheduling, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing Operations
. Minimum 3–5 years of proven supervisory or management experience preferred
.
Systems Knowledge: Strong hands-on experience and proficiency with ERP/SAP and MES systems for production planning, tracking, inventory management, and reporting
. Industry & Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of high-volume manufacturing processes, capacity planning, material requirements planning (MRP), and inventory control (automotive manufacturing experience preferred)
. Problem-Solving & Leadership Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills under pressure, with experience in Lean Manufacturing, Kanban, JIT, and root-cause analysis methodologies
