3. Job Duties / Responsibilities:  

Responsibilities

Shipping Operations Management
  • Manage daily shipping and distribution activities to ensure on-time customer deliveries.
  • Develop and implement shipping procedures and best practices.
  • Oversee order fulfillment, packing, labeling, and shipment scheduling.
  • Ensure accurate shipment processing and documentation.
Inventory & Warehouse Coordination
  • Coordinate with Warehouse, Production, Planning, and Customer Service teams.
  • Monitor finished goods inventory availability to meet shipping requirements.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through proper transaction management.
  • Support cycle counting and inventory reconciliation activities.
Logistics & Transportation Management
  • Manage relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, and logistics service providers.
  • Optimize transportation costs and delivery performance.
  • Monitor shipment status and resolve transportation issues.
  • Evaluate carrier performance and negotiate logistics contracts.
Compliance & Documentation
  • Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company policies.
  • Review shipping documents including packing lists, invoices, delivery notes, and export documents.
  • Support customs clearance and export control requirements when applicable.
  • Maintain accurate shipping records and operational reports.
Team Leadership
  • Supervise shipping personnel and warehouse shipping activities.
  • Establish performance targets and monitor KPI achievement.
  • Conduct employee training and performance evaluations.
  • Promote workplace safety and continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of shipping and warehouse operations
  • Understanding of inventory management principles
  • Experience with ERP, WMS, and logistics systems
  • Knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes
  • Leadership and team management skills
  • Problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
