3. Job Duties / Responsibilities:  

Responsibilities

1.Material Planning & Control
  • Review production schedules and determine material requirements.
  • Monitor material availability to support production demands.
  • Coordinate material procurement and replenishment activities.
  • Manage safety stock levels to prevent material shortages.

2. Inventory Management
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and transactions.
  • Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Analyze inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor slow-moving and obsolete inventory and recommend disposal plans.

3. Warehouse & Logistics Management
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and movement of materials.
  • Implement FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and inventory control practices.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing material shipments.
  • Support warehouse optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.

4. Supplier & Cross-functional Coordination
  • Work closely with procurement teams and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Track supplier performance regarding delivery schedules and material quality.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and logistics teams to resolve material issues.

5.ERP & Reporting
  • Maintain material master data in ERP systems (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
  • Generate inventory, shortage, and material usage reports.
  • Analyze inventory trends and support decision-making through data reporting.

6.Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Support cost reduction and supply chain optimization initiatives.
  • Participate in process improvement and lean manufacturing projects.

 

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ Years Experience in material management, inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain management.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments especially in Automotive, Electronics sectors.
  • Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Professional certifications such as CPIM, CSCP, or related credentials.
  • Experience with inventory optimization and data analysis.
  • Good communication skills in English and/or other foreign languages.
