Electrical Design Engineer

1.Job title : Electrical Design Engineer 

2. Location : Montgomery, Alabama 

3. Job Duties / Responsibilities:  

■ Job Purpose

To design, develop, and validate electrical design and components in support of product development, ensuring performance, reliability, compliance, and cost-effectiveness while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project and customer requirements.

■ Key Responsibilities

-          Design transformers (distribution, power, instrument, etc.) based on customer specifications, standards (IEC, IEEE, ANSI), and performance requirements.

-          Perform electrical, thermal, and mechanical design calculations and simulations.

-          Prepare and review design documentation, including drawings, technical specifications, test plans, and BOMs.

-          Work closely with mechanical, quality, testing, and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.

-          Provide technical support during transformer assembly, testing, and troubleshooting

-          Support customer inquiries, design reviews, and technical clarifications.

 

■ Required Qualifications

-          Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

-          0–2 years of industry experience

-          Proficiency in MS Office

4. Job Type: Full-time


5. Salary: 55K ~ 65K   Yearly, and your base salary will depend on your experiences, qualifications, and skills.
